Registration for the 2025 Fall Baseball season at EWA is OPEN!
EWA provides an opportunity for boys to play youth baseball. Our league emphasizes learning the fundamentals of the game while having fun in a recreational, but competitive setting for all players ages 3 -12 years old.
Our age divisions include:
5U (Tee Ball) Players may not turn 6 before May 1, 2026
6U (Coach Pitch) Players may not turn 7 before May 1, 2026
8U (Coach Pitch) Players may not turn 9 before May 1, 2026
10U (Kid Pitch) Players may not turn 11 before May 1, 2026
12U (Kid Pitch) Players may not turn 13 before May 1, 2026
OPEN DIVISION (10U, 12U Only)
Division Format:
5U: Our 5U division is a great introduction to the game of baseball. This division is perfect for younger players (3/4) or first time 5 year old players. All players hit off a tee. Teams hit through the entire batting order each inning. Outs can be made but innings continue until every player has had an at-bat. This division focuses on the basics of baseball.
6U: This is a coach pitch division with a tee option. Each player is provided five pitches from a coach and up to two swings off a tee should they need them. The 6U division continues to teach the basics of baseball while also incorporating general baseball rules (ie. 3 outs per inning, strike-outs, baserunning rules, etc).
8U: This is a coach pitch division with no tee option. While the focus is still on player development, most of the standard baseball rules apply, with a few modifications.
10U: This is a kid pitch division on a 46' mound and 60' bases.
12U: This is a kid pitch division on a 50' mound and 70' bases.
Rec ALL-STARS: We have added an end of year All-Star game/games the past two seasons and plan to keep that as part of EWA's format moving forward.
The AGE CUT OFF DATE is 04/30/2026. Your child’s age on 04/30/2026 is the age used for each division. (For example, if your child is 7 or 8 years old by 04/30/2026 they will play in the 8U division.)
Team Formations: We follow a draft process. Players will participate in a pre-season evaluation and coaches will draft from those available players. Players that do not attend the evaluation are not eligible for the draft and will be randomly assigned. Coaches are allowed to "freeze" up to four players prior to the draft.
Uniform Sizing: Prior to evaluations, players will have an opportunity to try on sample pants and jerseys to determine their appropriate sizes. Players that do not attend the uniform sizing will be provided sizes based on their registration. Parents will be responsible for replacement sizes should they order a size that does not fit who did not attend the fittings.
Refunds: Refunds will no longer be available after registration closes. Players will be allocated and uniforms will be ordered shortly thereafter. Refunds will be the amount paid less any credit card, processing or service fees.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Registration will close on Sunday, July 20th at 5:00 PM
Player evaluations and uniform fittings are expected to be held the week of July 21-27th with dates and times TBD
Space is limited based on coach availability and optimal roster sizes so keep an eye on the available slots remaining and waitlist options
Teams will have available practice times beginning immediately after the evaluations and draft
Games will begin in mid August and run through the end of October. Playoffs and All-Stars could roll into the first week or two of November depending on weather.
Teams will typically practice twice per week during the pre-season and once per week when games begin
Games for 5U are typically played on Saturdays but could have games during the week throughout the season as weather dictates
Games for 6U-12U (2 per week) will typically be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Mondays and Wednesdays being used as needed for scheduling purposes and weather make-ups. Open divisions will play on Mondays and Wednesdays.
All REC divisions, with the exception of 5U, will hold a draft format for team selection to help create a fair and balanced league
Please note that the online registration system will automatically default you into the correct age group when you enter your child’s date of birth into the system.
We serve east Williamson County, and our participants typically live in the neighborhoods zoned to Clovercroft, Trinity, Crockett, Creekside, Oakview and Kenrose Elementary schools. Our players range in ability from beginner to having played from the first possible moment.
