UPDATE:
As of June 27,  registration numbers in the 8U and 13U division hit our capacity expectations early.  So we have decided to attempt to add an additional team in the 8U and 13U divisions.  Please understand that all registrations after this date are subject to being refunded if too few players register before the cutoff date.

EWA provides an opportunity for girls to play youth softball in a recreational but competitive setting with an emphasis on learning the fundamentals of the game.   We offer youth softball for girls, ages 5 – 13 years old.  Our players range in ability from beginner to having played multiple seasons.

We primarily serve East Williamson County, and our participants are primarily zoned to Arrington, Clovercroft, Creekside,  Liberty,  Moore, Trinity, and Oak view Elementary schools.  Players from other areas and private schools also participate on our teams.

Our age divisions include:
6U (coach pitch/tee ball)               
8U (coach pitch)
10U (Fastpitch/Coach Pitch)
13U (Fastpitch)

The AGE CUT OFF DATE for the fall and spring softball season  is August 31. 
Your child’s age on August 31, is the date used to determine a child's "softball age" for each division. 
(For example, if your child turns 9 after August 31, 2023 she is eligible for the 8U division. )

The online registration system should automatically default you into the correct age group when you enter your child’s date of birth into the system.   Please refrain from choosing an option to play in a higher age division without first discussing with the Softball Commissioner. 

Update:
Exciting news! For the fall season, we will be introducing player evaluations for the 8U -13U divisions before the start of the season.  This will align softball with how all athletic teams are formed at EWA Sports.  Each player's skill level will be assessed and used to form teams to ensure fair and balanced competition throughout the season. Players will need to bring their softball equipment (helmet, bat, glove, and mask) and be prepared to participate in fielding and batting exercises.  Pitchers and catchers will also be evaluated after the batting and fielding activities.

Evaluation Schedule:
8U:  3:00 – 4:00
10U:  4:00 – 5:00
13U: 5:00 – 6:00

Uniform Sizing:
We will also be having a uniform sizing event during the evaluation.  Uniform sizing will be held July 20 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm (weather permitting) for all age divisions.  Parents are also encouraged to participate in the uniform sizing to ensure your child receives the best fitting uniform.  Extra uniforms will not be available if incorrect sizes are ordered.

Weather Contingency:
If weather conditions prohibit us having this event as scheduled, the current plan is to reschedule for Sunday July 21 as a backup at the same time schedule.
